OBJECTIVE: Construction of a sound-insulating and sound-absorbing wall made with Ledrosteelbox Phononix gabions:
Acoustic insulation intervention with structural properties: Ledrosteelbox Phononix gabions are a product to protect residential and/or sensitive areas such as hospitals, nursing homes, etc. from noise pollution.
They arise from a research project developed with the collaboration of the company Phononic Vibes srl, the Polytechnic University of Milan, the Engineering Department of the University of Ferrara, and the Giordano Institute. This product falls under ETA 17/0059 updated on 07/07/2022.
PROPOSAL:
The project involved the construction of a noise-protection wall with a maximum height of 3.00 m to divide a major road from a residential area in Germany.
The products arrived already full at the site when the laying surface had been completed and were handled with CE-marked lifting accessories according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
REALIZATION:
Ateam from Soc. Coop. Met. Ledr. to check that the vertical and horizontal joints between the Ledrosteelbox Phononix gabions were made in a workmanlike manner; a condition necessary to prevent the passage of sound.
