OBJECTIVE: Defusing ordnance in Cismon del Grappa.
Intervention for structural and public safety purposes.
SOLUTION:
Construction of an expansion chamber, using Military Ledrosteelbox gabions, necessary for the safe defusing of a war device found, during excavations for the maintenance of the sewer network, in Cismon del Grappa.
The system for making the expansion chamber was designed and developed by Soc. Coop. Metallurgica Ledrense based on the specific requirements of the C-IED center of excellence.
The gabions that make up the expansion chamber are filled with sand and can be handled full with the specific CE-marked lifting accessories in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
