OBJECTIVE: Intervention with a structural purpose :
Construction of a 12 m high wall needed to secure a landslide that developed under a group of apartment buildings.
Ledrosteelbox gabions were used for this intervention, particularly up to the middle of the wall, the 50-cm-high devices were installed, which demonstrated twice the compressive strength of the 100-cm-high devices.
The devices were assembled, filled and compacted with vibrating plate in place and then installed full with crane truck.
