Appearance cages. Structural electrowelded mesh gabions. Technical, architectural and sustainability aspects – Aosta Valley.

The seminar aims to clarify, in a first step, the regulatory obligations related to the choice and use
of electrowelded mesh gabions. In relation to this, the research projects developed
with University bodies and the CNR, carried out to obtain the CE marking of the product and identify
the performance of the essential technical characteristics, will be shown. This will be followed by showing various examples of
use and structural achievements, in river, building cladding, insulation
acoustics, in the field of renewable energy, street furniture and interventions of the Italian Army's genius
spoilers. Then the first system of dry foundations Marked
CE will be presented, in accordance with the requirements of DM 17/01/2018, which allow to avoid the use of
reinforced concrete. Finally, interventions in the architectural and archaeological fields will be shown
with a key related to various theses, doctorates and interventions carried out
